In the stillness the heart is felt

Pause

In the stillness of dark, muddy waters

the lotus flower emerges

untouched, unspoilt

from where it has come.

Your story is asking for stillness, to settle in,

get present and see that you are in a swamp

but you are NOT the swamp.

You are the lotus, beauty untouched.

It’s time to go still and open your heart portal

A flower sits within your heart, closed, may be frightened, or shy. She seeks assurance from you that it’s safe to be seen.

You are in your own mind and haven’t noticed the plight of your own heart. There’s just far too much to think, to know, to evaluate in your life, to ponder on in the past and spend hours dwindling about what the future may hold.

One day the body and mind are forced to go still. This is often the case. We may not listen and so the universe decides to help make us listen.

Pause.

In the stillness the thinking mind quietens. You can feel the beat of your heart. What you don’t realise is your heart is singing “hi” just to you, just for you. Lub dub, lub dub, lub dub.

The Lotus is you 

An inner throne of experience holds treasures that are just for you. The treasure is in the chest. Yes,  you guessed right, the treasure is your heart and what lives inside of it too.

For it to flower it must feel seen, it must feel heard. With kind eyes and compassionate ears allow it to be and free itself from the hold, the chains, the shackles of all the beliefs it once held as true.

Those beliefs were for others, not for you.

Make the mind and body ready

Yoga is an experience to help support this human vessel.

Through asanas, body postures, space is created within the body.

Through pranayama, yogic breath work, the thoughts are counteracted.

Through Mindfulness and discipline the mind is cleansed of impure thoughts against the self and others.

By drawing in the sense organs and creating one pointed awareness the mind and body become like a dream. They merge with the oneness, the formless. One is not separate from the other.

In this way one gains self realisation.

It takes discipline, love, devotion, dedication, compassion, kindness and willingness.

If connecting to the mind and body feel unattainable, seek the help of Ayurveda. The sister science to Yoga. To every question there is a deep attainable answer. The answer is internal and to reach internal spaces we must use that which works for us and resonates to the calling of our individual heart spaces.

It’s time to answer the call of your heart.
