Let it go, let it grow
To hold is to control
Let it go,
Let it grow
To control and hold that which is not for you
will create distress in your very being.
The moment you let something go
so that it can grow
it gets to become
what it needs to be.
If you want to see the truth of something.
Set it free, let it be and do whatever
is in its inherent nature,
in its DNA.
Then, you will truly understand why
it was never yours to hold onto.
To Control is not the same as to Lead
One who desires control, who needs control will live a life of suffering. If you have experienced enough life by now you will understand that life outside of us is in no way in our control. There is a creator of this whole universe who decides and chooses what will take place, from moment to moment, in divine perfection, which is outside of our human mind’s understanding.
The only domain we can lead from is our breath. From our breath the speed of our thoughts can be altered.
To Lead
Feel if your breath is shallow or if it runs deep within you. Take some time to notice. The air we breathe in is pure Amrit for our bodies. It is our immortal nectar which sustains our very life-force our Prana.
Lead from Pranic healing. Oxygen.
When oxygen fills our lungs the body feels complete. There are many stories of yogic masters who survive on Prana alone.
Pranayama, the breath work practice to remove disease in the body.
Purak – inhalation – slow steady and deep breathing in
Kumbhak – retention – to hold the breath allows Prana to move
Antar Kumbhak – Retention after inhalation – to hold the breath in the body
Bahir Kumbhak – Retention after exhalation – to hold the breath out of the body
Rechak – exhalation – emptying the lungs slowly to remove toxins
To breathe
Understanding and feeling into the presence of Rechak (exhalation) allows us to part with what is no longer needed or required to control or hold onto.
Real power (shakti) lies within the awareness of our breath cycles. Understand when letting go feels impossible and when letting go feels like freedom within the body.
Let the breath within carry you forward in faith.
Let it grow
When we conquer the fears of letting go we begin to grow internally. What we don’t see or know at the time is that holding on and trying to control things was stagnating our own energy.
In letting go, the growth first happens in your lungs, the flow of Amrit (nectar) in the form of oxygen increases. When oxygen flow improves, internal love expands within. When love within expands, compassion is birthed.
